Steve Seese brings over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry, starting his journey as a telemarketer for his cousin and uncle’s mortgage company in Bingham Farms. Before that, he worked in advertising but saw the mortgage industry as a better opportunity. He quickly moved from telemarketer to loan partner and became a full-time Loan Officer. Steve later took on the branch manager role before joining Success Mortgage Partners (SMP).
Steve joined SMP in May 2009 as a loan officer, having been recruited by Kevin Broughton. He was attracted to SMP due to its family-oriented and supportive environment. Although SMP was smaller then, Steve appreciated the team’s collaborative approach and the positive work atmosphere. Over time, Steve transitioned to the IT department at SMP and has worked in that role ever since.
Working at SMP, Steve enjoys a strong sense of teamwork and camaraderie among colleagues. Instead of competing with one another, the focus is on working together to provide the best experience for loan officers and customers. This team-oriented approach is something Steve truly values.
Outside of work, Steve cherishes spending quality time with his family. During the summer, they love heading to the lake for boating, swimming, and fishing. They engage in fun winter activities like sledding, playing in the snow, and attending their children’s extracurricular activities. As a dedicated DIY enthusiast, Steve is always involved in home projects, both indoors and outdoors.
In terms of hobbies, Steve’s focus has shifted since becoming a parent. He and his wife, Beth Seese, coach baseball for their daughters and actively volunteer at their kids’ school. Additionally, Steve plays golf once a year on Father’s Day, making it a special tradition. Steve and Beth have been happily married for almost 12 years, and they have two daughters named Jana (9) and Zoey (7).
