Laura Mondoux has an impressive tenure of 28 years in the mortgage business, starting her career in 1993. She began her journey at Detroit Mortgage & Realty (DMR) Financial Services, initially working in warehouse packages before quickly advancing to the Post-Closing and Insuring Department. Over the years, she gained valuable experience and held various roles, including Loan Closer and Product Development, working for companies such as Republic Bank, Peoples State Bank, and University Bank.
In January 2017, Laura joined Success Mortgage Partners (SMP), seeking a change from the culture of her previous employer. She was drawn to SMP due to positive recommendations from acquaintances recently joining the company, recognizing the potential for a more fulfilling professional environment.
Laura finds the culture amazing at SMP and has built meaningful relationships with her colleagues. The supportive and collaborative atmosphere contributes to her job satisfaction and allows her to thrive.
When spending time with her family, Laura, and her loved ones enjoy retreating to their cabin in Oscoda, Michigan. This tranquil getaway provides an opportunity to relax, immerse themselves in nature, engage in boating, hike along the AuSable River, and enjoy the company of friends by the bonfire.
In her spare time, Laura indulges in her passion for sports. Growing up in a sports-loving family, she has watched, played, and even coached various sports. She avidly enjoys the Detroit Lions, Detroit Red Wings, and Michigan State Spartans. Her ultimate sports dream is to witness the Detroit Lions playing in a Super Bowl and, ideally, emerging as the champions.
Among her hobbies, Laura takes daily walks with her furbaby Cooper, finds solace in reading, and participates in a bowling league alongside her husband.
Laura has been happily married to her husband, Dave, since 1993. Together, they have two daughters: Nicole, who is 25 years old, and Danielle, who is 22. While Laura doesn’t have any grandchildren, she cherishes her time with her immediate family and enjoys the journey of life with them.
